Prior to founding GLR, Steven served as managing director for an international legal recruiting firm, where he started and led the company's operations in Dubai and the Southeastern United States, and played an integral role in the development of the company’s operations in China, Japan and Singapore. He was one of the company's most successful recruiters working with some of the top law firms in the world.
Steven began his college education at the University of Pittsburgh, where he was a Bell Atlantic Scholar Athlete and a member of the men's varsity soccer team. After completing his freshman year in Pittsburgh, Steven transferred to the University of Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Finance, with honors, and a Juris Doctor degree.
While an undergraduate and a law student at the University of Florida, Steven volunteered as a coach for a local high school soccer team, guiding them to consecutive state finals, and clerked for a Supreme Court judge in New York.
As an attorney, Steven was an associate for one of the most prestigious plaintiff's class action law firms in the country, where he represented defrauded individuals and institutional investors in some of the largest and highest-profile national securities and consumer class action matters in the country.
When not working tirelessly for his clients, Steven enjoys passing on his love of soccer to his two young children.
